Spotlight on ‘Musical Comedy Murders’ cast member Dave Matthew Chesebro
The Musical Comedy Murders of the 1940s is coming to Lab Theater, and included in Director Carmen Crussard’s cast for this zany, madcap Whodunnit is Dave Chesebro, who was last on the board at The Lab as the lovesick chef in Michael Hollinger’s one-act farcical tragicomedy An Empty Plate in the Café du Grand Boeuf. Chesebro was fun to watch in that production, enjoying some of the most hilarious one-liners in the play.
Chesebro is also an aspiring writer. He was one of the playwrights who worked on The Rauschenberg Project Play, in which he also played a number of roles. He also played Mr. Mushnik in Little House of
Horrors, and has worked on a number of other productions in set construction and props management. The best of Dave’s acting and playwrighting remains to be refined and served.

Tom Hall is both an amateur artist and aspiring novelist who writes art quest thrillers. He is in the final stages of completing his debut novel titled "Art Detective," a story that fictionalizes the discovery of the fabled billion-dollar Impressionist collection of Parisian art dealer Josse Bernheim-Jeune, thought by many to have perished during World War II when the collection's hiding place, Castle de Rastignac in southern France, was destroyed by the Wehrmacht in reprisal for attacks made by members of the Resistance operating in the area. A former tax attorney, Tom holds a bachelor's degree as well as both a juris doctorate and masters of laws in taxation from the University of Florida. Tom lives in Estero, Florida with his fiancee, Connie, and their four cats.
