Guinevere Bortnicker Kiniry plays the part of San Mateo auditioner Maggie Winslow in Fort Myers Theatre’s production of A Chorus Line, who the audience meets “At the Ballet.” Her parents supposedly had her to fix their strained marriage, but it didn’t work, leaving her to be raised by her mother and grandmother. She would dance around her living room with her arms raised as if dancing with her father, who she imagined as “an Indian chief.” In the ballet world she found solace that “someone’s always there.”

The 17 year old Southwest Florida actor, singer and dancer has been doing theater her whole life. Her stage credits include the roles of the Bakers Wife in Into the Woods Jr, numerous roles in Anastasia (2022), multiple parts in Bible Herstory (2021)(she appeared as a dutiful daughter in “Noah’s Ark-itect,” Guard Gloria in “Queen Solomon & the Paternity Suit” and a very pregnant Elizabeth in “The Rununciation”), Mimi in Pippin (2019) and a townsperson in Hunchback of Notre Dame (2018). She has also performed in The New Works Showcase at JTF Atlanta (2022). Guinevere attends Cypress Lake High School as a theatre major.
