Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre’s 25th anniversary season will include five productions in The Off Broadway Palm, Broadway Palm’s second performance venue. The Off Broadway Palm’s season begins September 21 and runs through July 22, 2018. The Off Broadway Palm productions include:
The Odd Couple: Female Version (September 21 – October 29, 2017)
The men are out and the ladies are in! Neil Simon’s hilarious twist has taken the classic hit The Odd Couple and replaced the two male leads with females. The hilarity and story line remains the same as a neurotic, neat freak moves into the home of an uncouth and messy friend after a marital split. Within days, their differing ways of life start taking their toll and the two are forced to agree that even the best of friends can make the worst of roommates.
A Tuna Christmas (November 16 – December 25, 2017)
It’s the holiday season in Tuna, Texas, the third-smallest town in the Lone Star State, and just two actors bring over twenty zany characters to life in this hilarious and heartwarming play. The annual Christmas Yard Display Contest sets the lunacy in motion and a mysterious phantom known for vandalizing the displays threatens to ruin the contest. All of this while one resident is trying to produce A Christmas Carol despite numerous obstacles and headaches!
The Hallelujah Girls (January 11 – February 24, 2018)
From the writers of The Dixie Swim Club and The Savannah Sipping Society comes this all-new, rollicking Southern comedy. The Hallelujah Girls will have you laughing all the way to SPA-DEE-DAH!, the abandoned church-turned-day-spa where a group of friends gather every Friday. After suffering a loss, the women realize life is too short and if they’re going to live life to the fullest, they need to start now. Of course that’s easier said than done, but the women rally together to overcome the many hurdles thrown at them which gives you a side-splitting, joyful comedy that will make you laugh out loud and shout “Hallelujah!”
Church Basement Ladies: Rise Up, O Men (March 1 – April 29, 2018)
The sixth helping from the Church Basement Ladies series is here! Rise Up, O Men is a brand new musical comedy featuring a few men of the church and your favorite church basement ladies who serve them. As these hard-working farmers discuss their scrap lumber piles and the benefits of weld vs solder, they unintentionally disrupt the order of the kitchen. But that’s what happens when you let the rooster in the hen house!
The Savannah Sipping Society (June 14 – July 22, 2018)
Back by popular demand after a sold-out run last season is the fabulous The Savannah Sipping Society! Four Southern women, strangers to one another, are drawn together by fate and turn weekly happy hours into a mission to renew the enthusiasm for life they’ve lost through the years. Their raucous humor and collective strengths see them through unexpected challenges and to their surprise, they realize it’s never too late to make lifelong friends.
Individual tickets go on sale June 1, 2017. Ticket prices range from $39 to $59. Performances are Tuesday through Sunday evenings (no Tuesday evening performances May through October) with selected matinees.

About the Author
Tom Hall is both an amateur artist and aspiring novelist who writes art quest thrillers. He is in the final stages of completing his debut novel titled "Art Detective," a story that fictionalizes the discovery of the fabled billion-dollar Impressionist collection of Parisian art dealer Josse Bernheim-Jeune, thought by many to have perished during World War II when the collection's hiding place, Castle de Rastignac in southern France, was destroyed by the Wehrmacht in reprisal for attacks made by members of the Resistance operating in the area. A former tax attorney, Tom holds a bachelor's degree as well as both a juris doctorate and masters of laws in taxation from the University of Florida. Tom lives in Estero, Florida with his fiancee, Connie, and their four cats.
