‘A Raisin in the Sun’ actor James Robinson in the spotlight
Theatre Conspiracy at the Alliance for the Arts will present A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry May 3-13. James Robinson plays the part of Karl Lindner. He was just on the Foulds Theatre stage in Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House.
Robinson earned a BFA in Acting from Emerson College. He has trained at Circle in the Square in NYC and the Trinity Rep Conservatory in Providence. He has acted and directed in New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island and Florida. Locally, you may have seen James in The Eight: Reindeer Monologues at Lab Theatre (he played Donner). James also directed Mothers & Sons for The Lab and was part of the set
construction crew for Sirens, which was also directed by Anne Dodd.

Tom Hall is both an amateur artist and aspiring novelist who writes art quest thrillers. He is in the final stages of completing his debut novel titled "Art Detective," a story that fictionalizes the discovery of the fabled billion-dollar Impressionist collection of Parisian art dealer Josse Bernheim-Jeune, thought by many to have perished during World War II when the collection's hiding place, Castle de Rastignac in southern France, was destroyed by the Wehrmacht in reprisal for attacks made by members of the Resistance operating in the area. A former tax attorney, Tom holds a bachelor's degree as well as both a juris doctorate and masters of laws in taxation from the University of Florida. Tom lives in Estero, Florida with his fiancee, Connie, and their four cats.
