Gui Agustini


Gui Agustini is a New York-based filmmaker whose directorial credits include seven short films: an Underwear Ordeal (2019), Iara (2019), The Therapist (2019), Roses Are Blind (2018), The Instructor (2018), Coming to Terms (2018) and The Perfect Stroke (2013). He also produced these films as well as 502 Taber Rd. (in post-production), Escape (2018) and the television series Checking Out (2016). His filmography also includes screenwriting (including co-writing Roses Are Blind and writing An Underwear Ordeal, Iara, The Instructor, The Perfect Stroke and the TV series La Neta De Los Sexos (2013) and editing.

On the acting side, Agustini has appeared as Johnny in 502 Taber Rd (post-production), George Hewitt in the short film Pitch Boys (completed), Mark in Lost Lake (2020), Miguel in Solteira Quase Surtando (2020), Malcolm in the short film Iara (2019), Gary in The Therapist (2019), Dr. Mayer in Roses Are Blind (2018), a tennis instructor in the video short The Instructor (2018), Victor in the short film Escape (2018), Tim in the short Coming to Terms (2018), Woody Johnson in the short film Dolls and Cigarettes (2018), Separated Dave in Next Is the One (2017), Guy Profigliano in the television series Checking Out (2016), Eternal Emotions (2014), Guido in the short Deadly Fast (2013), William Spear in The Perfect Stroke (2013), David Campos in the short One Life (2013), The Local Population in the video game Grand Theft Auto V (2013), Carmelo in 19 episodes of the television series 11-11 En mi cuadra nada cuadra (2013), host in the TV series La Neta De Los Sexos (2013), Tony in the short Cant (2012), Dave in the television series The Glades (2012), Delfin in 19 episodes of the television series Grachi (2012), Peep #2 in the short film Frank and the Rabbit (2012), Emil in the short All Paths Lead to Roma (2012), Jason (as Guilherme Agustini) in the short film In the Blink of an Eye (2011), an exhibition visitor in the TV series Una Maid en Manhattan (2011), Camila’s friend in the television series Alguien Te Mira (2011) and a guest in Aurora (2010).

Agustini’s film Roses Are Blind screens in the 4:00 p.m. Shorts Block Eight on Saturday, October 24.
