Spotlight on ‘Raisin in the Sun’ actor Keehnon Jackson
On stage in the Foulds Theatre at the Alliance for the Arts is Theatre Conspiracy’s production of Lorraine Hansberry’s timeless classic, A Raisin in the Sun. Playing the part of Travis Younger is Keehnon Jackson.
Keehnon is ecstatic to be in this production of A Raisin in the Sun. He is no stranger to the stage. Past acting credits include To Kill a Mockingbird at Florida Repertory Theatre, Once Upon a Mattress during Florida Rep’s summer camp program, The Miracle Worker (Percy), Madagascar (Marty) and Fiddler on the Roof (Fyedka).
Keehnon is in the seventh grade at Veterans Park Academy for the Arts. He enjoys acting, singing, soccer, playing the keyboard and participating in leadership roles at school.
