Synopsis: Broadway superfans Jeff and Judy eagerly wait at the stage door of the Richard Rodgers Theatre for their idol Idina Menzel to appear following her performance in If/Then in hopes of having her autograph their programs, which she
failed to do the night they originally saw her performance. Both are aspiring entertainers. Judy is auditioning again for the first time after establishing a career in real estate. Jeff has developed a new drag act based on Menzel. Although united in their love of theater, both have differing views on a range of topics. Jeff thinks Judy is self-sabotaging; Judy finds Jeff’s humor to be misogynistic and appropriative of femininity. When a handsome stranger named Mark enters the scene, he upends their decades-long friendship by trying to date them both,
compelling Jeff and Judy to go off-book to rewrite their own finale.

About the Author
Tom Hall is both an amateur artist and aspiring novelist who writes art quest thrillers. He is in the final stages of completing his debut novel titled "Art Detective," a story that fictionalizes the discovery of the fabled billion-dollar Impressionist collection of Parisian art dealer Josse Bernheim-Jeune, thought by many to have perished during World War II when the collection's hiding place, Castle de Rastignac in southern France, was destroyed by the Wehrmacht in reprisal for attacks made by members of the Resistance operating in the area. A former tax attorney, Tom holds a bachelor's degree as well as both a juris doctorate and masters of laws in taxation from the University of Florida. Tom lives in Estero, Florida with his fiancee, Connie, and their four cats.
